Even through I have a lot to cover today…

I will try to keep this as short as possible.

This will be my personal tips for you to finally understand how Instagram algorithm work & how you can take advantage of it.

First of all…

Shadowban is real.

If your reels get 0 views 5x in a row in the beginning.

Leave that page and create new one (try to warm up your profile properly).

How to warm up your account?

1. Create new email (day 1)

2. Create new Ig page with that email (day 3, yes wait 1 day)

3. Scroll on that Ig account (still on day 3)

4. You can upload profile picture and logo (day 4)

5. Post your first reel (day 5)

That's how you get out of 0 views jail.

Now I will show you how you can actually get more views.

Instagram wants users to spend on the platform as much time as they can (so Instagram can make more money from ADS).

But Instagram also want QUALITY & entertaining content that make people interested in the app and make them come back.

For that reason you must focus on:

1. Watch time (how much time people spend watching your content)

2. Interactions (SAVES, SHARES & COMMENTS are most important)

Now lets dive into each other in more depth.

How do you increase your watch time?

Well,

there is one strategy.

I like to call it CAPTION strategy.

You probably already saw videos that were just some hook.

And at the end was CTA (call to action) that told you to read caption or description of video.

Inside caption you actually found something valuable that was the video hook promising.

This works because when someone start to read caption.

Video start to play over again (more watch time = algorithm will push it to more people because it seem like people are interested in it)

or you can take it one step further and create value based pictures like THIS

So, now you know how to increase your watch time (which will help you get more views).

But now I will share with you how you can get more interactions (comments) on your reels + collect leads that might buy from you in the future.

How do you make people comment under your content?

Getting comments is great thing because:

1. They boost your post (ig push videos with a lot of organic comments)

2. You can collect leads (make money later)

Dont rely on “organic“ comments.

It is hard to make people randomly comment under your content.

You need to MAKE them comment.

How?

I call it “Gimme strategy“.

By far the easiest and most profitable way to do that is by giving them your lead magnet.

With your lead magnet, you are:

1. Building more trust

2. Building your email list

3. Creating good will (when you give something good, people want to give you back)

For this you can use simple CTAs like: “Comment FREE & I will send you my Digital products masterclass“.

And to save time, you can automate everything with Manychat.

Now you might be surprised.

This is in my opinion everything you need to know.

Instagram algorithm isnt complicated.

But sometimes it just dont give you views you want.

In this case, you need to make sure that:

1. You are posting quality & unique content (would you actually watch it if you saw that in your feed?)

2. You are using growing strategies (Gimme & Watch time strategy - they will help you get more views - if you are already getting at least some)

In the beginning dont expect to hit viral videos.

It took me 4 months to get to 2,000 views on average per video.

And 6 months to hit my first viral video.

So, take your time & enjoy this long journey.

Now, I will share with you what I think are most important points from this post.

• Shadowban is real (if your first 5 posts get 0 views, create new page)

• Instagram want users to spend as much time on the platform

• Your content get pushed to more people when it have a lot of interactions (watch time, comments, saves & shares)

• To increase your watch time use Caption strategy (use CTA: “read caption” or create value based pictures that are changing on beats of music)

• To increase your comments & collect more leads + build your email list use Gimme strategy (give away your lead magnet for free & automate everything with manychat)

• Lead magnet can be simple PDF that you can offer on Gumroad or Whop (create that PDF in google docs or Canva)
